Concrete Cleaning in Southern Ohio

Surface cleaner equipment and targeted pre-treatment remove years of oil stains, black algae streaks, and ground-in grime — revealing the clean concrete underneath.

Professional Equipment Makes the Difference

Why a Surface Cleaner Beats a Wand Every Time

A standard pressure washing wand leaves the “tiger stripe” lines you’ve probably seen on driveways around the neighborhood — parallel streaks where the operator moved too fast or too slow. A commercial surface cleaner spins two nozzles in a sealed housing, cleaning an even 18–20 inch swath with every pass.

The result is an even, uniform clean with no wand lines, no missed edges, and far less surface degradation. Our equipment runs at PSI calibrated to concrete — aggressive enough to remove contamination, not aggressive enough to etch the surface or open the aggregate.

For stubborn oil and grease stains from vehicles, we apply a degreaser pre-treatment and allow dwell time before the main clean. Many stains that look permanent respond well to this approach.

What We Clean

Every Concrete & Hard Surface Around Your Property

🚗
Driveways

The dirtiest concrete on most properties. We tackle oil drips, tire marks, and years of weather staining with full surface cleaner passes.

🏡
Patios & Pool Decks

Green algae on a patio is a slip hazard. We restore the surface and apply a post-treatment to slow re-growth through the season.

🚶
Sidewalks & Walkways

Entry walks, side paths, and front stoops get the same surface cleaner treatment, detail-cleaned by hand at edges and corners.

🏢
Parking Areas

Commercial concrete lots, parking pads, and loading areas. Heavy degreaser pre-treatment for areas with consistent vehicle parking.

The Process

From Pre-Treatment to Post-Treatment

01
Stain Pre-Treatment

Oil, grease, and rust stains receive targeted chemical treatment before the main clean — this step makes the biggest difference on older, set-in staining.

02
Surface Cleaner Pass

We make overlapping passes with our commercial surface cleaner for an even, streak-free result. Edges and tight corners are done by hand.

03
Post-Treatment & Rinse

After cleaning, we apply a post-treatment solution that neutralizes any remaining biological growth. Final rinse carries all loosened material off the surface.

Common Questions

Concrete Cleaning FAQ

Can you completely remove old oil stains?
It depends on how long the oil has been there and how deeply it has penetrated. Fresh stains and stains less than a year old respond very well to our degreaser treatment. Old, deeply-set stains can be significantly lightened — often to the point where they’re no longer noticeable — though complete removal isn’t always possible. We’ll be honest with you about expectations before we start.
How soon can I drive on or use the concrete after cleaning?
Foot traffic is fine within a couple of hours once the surface has dried. For vehicle traffic, we recommend waiting until the concrete is fully dry — typically 2–4 hours depending on sun and temperature. We’ll let you know when we’re done and flag anything that needs extra dry time.
What about stamped or decorative concrete — is it safe to pressure wash?
Yes, but we adjust our approach. Stamped and decorative concrete often has a sealer on it that needs to be respected. We use lower pressure and verify the surface condition before beginning. If you’re planning to re-seal after cleaning, this is the right sequence — a clean surface accepts sealer far better than a dirty one.
How often should I have my concrete cleaned?
Most residential driveways benefit from cleaning every 2–3 years. Patios and pool decks in shaded areas tend to grow algae faster and may need annual attention. Commercial properties with heavy vehicle traffic often do best on an annual or semi-annual schedule.
